EDISON, N.J. - Loyola University Maryland and Ridley Athletic Complex will host the 2012 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championships, the league office announced on Tuesday.
The three-year old venue will host the Championships for the second time in three years when the top four teams during the MAAC regular-season come to Baltimore for the semifinals on Thursday, November 8.
Thursday’s winners will play in the title game on Saturday, November 10, at the 6,000-seat stadium. Times for all three games will be announced at a later date.
Loyola has appeared in the MAAC Championships each of the last 23 years since joining the conference in 1989, and the Greyhounds have reached the Championship Game 16 times, winning 12. The 2012 Championships will make the eighth time Loyola has hosted the MAAC Championships in men’s soccer.
