Baltimore, Md. - The Loyola men's soccer team has announced its 2004 spring schedule. The Greyhounds will play seven spring games, including an Alumni Game at home in mid-April.
After an 11-7-3 overall record in 2003, the 'Hounds are preparing themselves for a run at a sixth straight regular season Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) title. The spring session will feature teams such as Virginia Commonwealth and Georgetown and begins on Sunday, March 21 at Old Dominion.
Loyola will head to VCU one week after Old Dominion before returning to Baltimore Area for a pair of games at McDonogh High School in Owings Mills. The 'Hounds play Georgetown and Mount St. Mary's at McDonogh on April 3.
An Alumni Game on April 16 will highlight the spring, while an April 24 game at Penn State will close out this semester's competition.
