Baltimore, Md. - The Loyola men's lacrosse team has announced its 2007 season schedule, including a three-game fall slate beginning this Friday. The Greyhounds will play all three fall games at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md. with one game slated for Friday, September 29 and two games on Sunday, October 15.
The regular season begins February 17 at Notre Dame. The Greyhounds return home the following Saturday and host Charles Street rival Towson at Diane Geppi-Aikens Field. The ECAC opener at Penn State the following Saturday leads to a First Four re-match with Duke in San Diego, Calif. on March 10.
The Greyhounds return from California and play five of their next seven games at home. The regular season concludes at rival Johns Hopkins on May 5.
Loyola will play its fall games against teams it will not face during the 2007 regular season, beginning on Sept. 29 when it faces Navy under the lights at Marine Corps Stadium. That game is scheduled for a 7 p.m. start.
On Sunday, Oct. 15, the Greyhounds will play Princeton at approximately 12 p.m. and Harvard at 2 p.m.. Again, both games will be played at Navy.
