After the Loyola University Maryland's record-breaking men's lacrosse season comes to a close, the Greyhounds will return to the field in July at Ridley Athletic Complex for three camps that are geared to high school student-athletes interested in competing at the collegiate level.
The program will host two shootouts that provide deal environment for exposure as well as an education on recruiting basics and the process as a whole. Enrollment in the shootouts is limited on purpose to provide you the best opportunity to showcase your talents and abilities to the college coaches in attendance.
Additionally, the Loyola coaching staff will host the premier goalie program in the nation, the Greyhound Goalie Camp. Click here to download the camp brochure.
The Rising Sophomore and Junior Shootout will take place July 1-4 on the campus of Loyola where campers can stay in the Evergreen campus' residence halls that have been touted as the No. 1 dorms in the nation.
Greyhound Goalie Camp will be held a week later, from July 5-8, and provides goalies with the finest specialized instruction in the unique skills of goalie play.
The Rising Junior and Sophomore Shootouts are geared toward high school student-athletes in the classes of 2014 and 2015. The camps enable student-athletes to get a jump on the recruiting process by providing you the ultimate stage to display your talents and abilities. Similar to other top camps, the design of the camp is to maximize the recruiting process for you by limiting the number of players enrolled, as well as only playing one game at a time.
By doing this, every college coach present will be focused on your entire game; you will not have to worry about coaches picking up and leaving at halftime to find a different game to watch. The fact that games will take place on only one field, gives you full exposure to all college coaches in attendance. In previous years, coaches from all levels of Division I, II and III programs have been in attendance to provide a broad scope of recruiting options.
