BALTIMORE - The Loyola University Maryland men's and women's lacrosse teams found out Sunday night that they will host First Round games in their respective NCAA Championships next weekend.

Loyola's men earned the No. 1 seed in the 2012 Championships after finishing the regular-season and ECAC Tournament with a 14-1 record. The 14 victories set a school record, helping the team earn the top spot in the tournament for the second time and first since 1998.
The Greyhounds will host Canisius College, the winner of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference title after defeating Siena College, 10-9, on Sunday. The Golden Griffins, who are 6-7 overall this season, last played in the NCAA Tournament in 2009.
Loyola's women will be the No. 6 in the Championships and host a game for the second year in a row after winning their second-straight BIG EAST Championship on Saturday. The Greyhounds are 13-5 overall this season and in the tournament for the 14th time.
The Greyhounds will host the University of Pennsylvania, which advanced to the NCAA Championships with a 9-7 record after falling to Dartmouth College in the Ivy League final on Sunday.
