Eleven Men's Lacrosse Alums To Open Year On Major League Lacrosse Rosters

Eleven Loyola University Maryland men's lacrosse alumni were on the active rosters of Major League Lacrosse teams announced today and will compete for their respective teams this weekend.
 
P.T. Ricci, who is currently Loyola's director of men's lacrosse operations, is the most veteran of the group. He will begin his seventh season in the League with the Florida Launch.
 
In addition to the group of players, Launch Head Coach Stan Ross is also a graduate of Loyola.
 
The 11 are joined by two players -- Matt Sawyer (Charlotte) and Brian Schultz (Chesapeake) -- who are on teams' practice squads.
 
Two current Loyola players, attacker Nikko Pontrello (Denver) and Pat Frazier (Florida) were selected in the 2015 MLL Collegiate Entry Draft and will compete for their teams following the Greyhounds' season.
