Baltimore, Md. - Loyola sophomore Cooper MacDonnell has been named Co-ECAC Offensive Player of the Week after scoring four goals at No. 2 Syracuse last Saturday. MacDonnell, who matched a career-high goal total in the loss, garners his second ECAC Offensive Player of the Week honor this season.
MacDonnell's four goals matches his four-goal effort at Towson back on February 23. He was ECAC Offensive Player of the Week for that performance as well.
So far this season, MacDonnell leads all Loyola goal scorers with 16 tallies. His goal total is double that of senior Shane Koppens and freshman Matt Langan, who are tied for second on the team with eight goals this year.
