March 9, 2015

INDIANAPOLIS - Loyola University Maryland's 2012 men's lacrosse team that captured the school's first NCAA Division I National Championship is leading the way in another competition, although this one is being carried by Greyhounds' fans online.

Last month, the NCAA started a "Champion of Champions" competition to determine the best of NCAA Division I Men's Lacrosse title teams. The Greyhounds have raced through the balloting and are now in the final round, facing the 1997 Princeton Tigers.

Voting takes place through Wednesday, March 11 at 7 p.m. (EDT), and the winner of the competition will be invited to be recognized at the 2015 NCAA Championship Game on Memorial Day.
