BALTIMORE - The Loyola University Maryland golf team will travel to Raleigh, North Carolina, to compete in the Wolfpack Fall Intercollegiate at the Lonnie Poole Golf Course Monday and Tuesday.
The tournament has been shortened to 36 holes and will be played at the 18-hole, 7,450-yard, par 71 public course. Monday's first round will be a shotgun start at 11:30 a.m., followed by the second round on Tuesday at 8 a.m., with split tee times on holes 1 and 10.
"We really enjoy competing at Lonnie Poole Golf Course," head coach Chris Baloga said. "Throughout the last four years, we've played in four events here, and this will be our first of two tournaments this season.
"It's going to be another strong field of competition, but we're looking forward to bouncing back after a tough week last week."
The 16-team field will include Augusta, Campbell, Chattanooga, Drexel, George Washington, Hartford, Lipscomb, Loyola, NC State, Rhode Island, Seton Hall, Temple, USC Upstate, West Virginia, Western Carolina and Wofford.
Following the tournament, the Greyhounds will return to Maryland for the Terrapin Invitational at Woodmont Country Club in Rockville.
