Men's Golf Coach Chris Baloga Competes At U.S. Amateur

University Place, Wash. - Loyola University Maryland men's golf Head Coach Chris Baloga played in his first-ever United States Amateur Championship on Monday, shooting an 11-over 82 in his first round of play.

Baloga shot 7-over on the front nine before improving with a 4-over effort after the turn to card an 82 at the Chambers Bay Golf Course.

Tuesday features another day of stroke play followed by a match play field of 64 during the rest of the week to determine the eventual champion.
