NORMAN, Okla. - The Loyola University Maryland men's golf team received recognition for its work in the classroom on Tuesday after earning All-Academic recognition from the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCCA).

The Greyhounds were one of 113 teams from all divisions of the NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA to attain GCCA All-Academic status, which go to teams with a team grade point average of 3.0 or better.

GCCA All-Academic Team honors are calculated from grade points earned and hours attempted for each player on a team's official squad list for the academic year.
