BALTIMORE - Loyola University Maryland junior golfer Ethan Wall was one of 25 players to be named to the Division I PING All-Northeast Region Team, as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).
Wall led the Greyhounds with a 73.25 stroke average this season and was one of 156 players across six regions to earn all-region honors for 2016.
A native of Brielle, New Jersey, Wall was one of two Greyhounds to play in all 11 tournaments this season. He logged three top-10 finishes throughout the year and earned All-Patriot League Second Team honors after finishing tied for ninth at the conference tournament.
For the season, Wall shot two rounds in the 60s and had 10 par-or-better rounds, including a season-best 68 in the second round of NC State’s Wolfpack Spring Intercollegiate on April 16. His best finish was a tie for seventh at Notre Dame’s Fighting Irish Gridiron Classic on September 21-22, while he helped the Greyhounds to a runner-up finish at Maryland’s Terrapin Invitational on October 19-20.
