The Golf Channel To Televise NCAA Championships

May 24, 2005

Baltimore, Md. - Exclusive coverage of the NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championships will be televised on The Golf Channel beginning Thursday, June 2. Loyola College will host the national championship tournament at Caves Valley Golf Club from June 1 through June 4. Click NCAA Golf Coverage for more information on the tournament.

Tune in (or better yet, come out) to see the nation's best collegiate golfers vie for tournament glory and make a name for themselves like Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson did at their NCAA Championships.

Leading up to the finals, The Golf Channel will chronicle the action along the way, with dedicated stories on its nightly news program, Golf Central, and more comprehensive features on television's only weekly program dedicated to the college game, College Central.

The Golf Channel's coverage will run June 2-5. The final three rounds of the tournament will air each day from 3-5 p.m. EST, while a tournament replay will air Friday-Sunday from 1-3 a.m. EST. Hosting the men's coverage will be Brian Anderson and Curt Byrum, with Steve Burkowski reporting from the course and handling interviews.
