BALTIMORE -
The Loyola University Maryland golf team will compete in the Hoosier Collegiate at the Otter Creek Golf Club in Columbus, Indiana, this weekend.

The Greyhounds are paired to play with Indiana and Marquette through Saturday's 18 holes, which will begin with a shotgun start at 11 a.m. The final 18 holes will be played on Sunday with tee times beginning at 9 a.m.

"We're looking forward to playing this weekend with some Midwest teams that we don't typically see," head coach Chris Baloga said. "Playing against some of these new and unfamiliar teams should hopefully help us as we start to make final preparations to defend our Patriot League title at the end of the month."

The 14-team field consists of Ball State, Cincinnati, Indiana, IUPUI, Loyola, Marquette, Miami (OH), Northern Illinois, Purdue, Santa Clara, Toledo, Valparaiso, Wisconsin and Xavier.

Senior Jimmy Dengler, juniors Connor Flach and Ethan Wall, and sophomores Jeremy Wall and Bennett Wisner will compete for the Greyhounds on the Par 72, 7,199-yard course.

Loyola will return to action next weekend as it returns to Raleigh, North Carolina for the Wolfpack Spring Open.
