RALEIGH, N.C. - Loyola University Maryland sophomore Matt Oshrine shot a 2-under 69 through the final round of the Wolfpack Intercollegiate Tuesday at the Lonnie Poole Golf Course to finish fifth with a three-round total of 3-under 210.
Senior Bart George
and sophomore Connor Flach
finished tied for 46th overall, each shooting a 12-over 225. Flach carded a 3-over 74 today, while George finished at 5-over 76.
Junior Jimmy Dengler
was fourth for Loyola, shooting a 10-over 81 today, to finish tied for 74th with a 20-over 233, while freshman Brendan Peel
took 87th after finishing today's round at 5-over 76. Peel completed the tournament with a three-round total of 28-over 241.
As a team, the Greyhounds finished eighth with a team score of 36-over 888. NC State, the tournament hosts, won the title with a 6-under 846, while East Tennessee State was second at 3-over 855 and East Carolina was third with an 11-over 863.
NC State's David Cooke and ETSU's Adrian Meronk shared the lead at 5-under 208, while Christopher Hickman (ETSU) and Wesley Conover (ECU) were tied for third at 4-under 209.
Up next, Loyola will head to Rockville, Maryland to begin play at the two-day Maryland Invitational. The tournament is scheduled to take place at Woodmont Country Club on Monday and Tuesday.
