Men's golf moved up one spot after completing day two of St. John's Mission Inn Fall Intercollegiate Saturday. Greyhound golfers combined for a 307, shaving seven shots off yesterday's total, giving Loyola a 36-hole score of 621 at the Orlando-area Inn's El Campeon Course.

Alex Redfearn dropped from 12th to 25th Saturday after shooting a 78, but the Florida native still remains to Greyhounds' leader at 9-over 151.

While Redfearn dropped, Jay Mulieri and freshman Jason Burton fared better today. Mulieri fired a 76 Saturday, putting him in a tie for 40th. After an opening round 79, Mulieri is currently at 13-over for the event with a 36-hole score of 155.

Burton, a freshman out of nearby Calvert Hall, quietly moved up the rankings by shooting a 75 Sunday. Burton moved up to a solo 45th place, one shot ahead of teammate Ryan McCarthy and two shots behind Mulieri at 15-over (157).

Will Handley, the Greyhounds' other Florida native, is 29-over after going 84-87 (171).

The tournament concludes tomorrow, with the first group teeing off at 7:30 a.m.
