Golf Places Fifth At Drew Upton Memorial

Westover, Md. - Freshman Will Shriver shot two-under par in his final round and Loyola finished fifth overall at the Drew Upton Memorial in Westover, Md. on Sunday afternoon. The Greyhounds scored three rounds of 294 to end the tournament with overall team score of 882.

Shriver opened the tournament with an 18-hole score of 69. He fired a 74 in Round Two and with his 70 on Sunday, he placed second overall, two strokes back of tournament champion Alex Brueggemann of Towson.

T.J. Shuart and Jeff O'Brien tied for 11th place overall with a three-round total of 218. David Atkinson scored a 234 and Scott Zielinski finished the tournament with a 235.

Liberty won the Drew Upton Memorial with a three-round team score of 867. Towson and Rutgers tied for second and Boston College took fourth, shooting one stroke better than Loyola.

The Greyhounds will be back in action this weekend. They play at the Navy Spring Invitational on Saturday-Sunday, April 3-4.
