Golfers In Fourth After Two Rounds Of Kingsmill Intercollegiate

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - Following Monday's second round of the Kingsmill Intercollegiate at the Kingsmill Resort River Course, the Loyola University Maryland golf team is in fourth place.

Juniors Connor Flach and Ethan Wall both shot 3-over 73 through today's round, while sophomores Brendan Peel and Bennett Wisner were one stroke behind, at 4-over 74.

Wall is the top-ranked Greyhound heading into tomorrow's final round, sitting tied for 11th with a 3-over 143. Flach and Wisner are tied for 23rd with a pair of 5-over 145s and Wisner is tied for 49th at 9-over 149.

Junior Will Wears shot a 10-over 80 through the round and enters tomorrow's final round tied for 94th overall with a 15-over 155.

Penn State and Tennessee are tied for the team lead with two-round scores of 9-over 569. TCU is third at 15-over 575, followed by the Greyhounds with a team score of 22-over 582.

Penn State's Charles Huntzinger is atop the individual leaderboard with a 9-under 131, while TCU's Paul Barjon is second at 3-under 137 and Tennessee's Chad Merzbacher is third at 1-under 139. The Greyhounds will tee off for tomorrow's final round at 9:30 a.m. They will play with Penn State, Tennessee and TCU.
