Final Round Of William & Mary Intercollegiate Called Due To Weather

Williamsburg, Va. - The second and final round of the William and Mary Intercollegiate has been cancelled due to inclement weather. Loyola, which scored a 302 on Day One, finished 10th it the 22-team field while Josh Anderson of St. Bonaventure receiving the individual medal by criteria over junior Will Shriver.

Shriver, who posted a 69 on the River Course at Kingsmill Resort and Golf Club on Monday, tied with Anderson and Brent Paladino of William & Mary, but lost out in the mathematical tie-breaker.

Liberty University was awarded the team trophy after posting a 292 first-round score while Maryland and Villanova finished second and third.

Monday's results, which included and even-par 71 from freshman Michael Mulieri and rounds of 81 from sophomores Matt Bassler and Nick Brassill, stand as the final results for the tournament. Mulieri tied for fifth overall. Shriver led the field in par 4 scoring, finishing the tournament two-under on those holes.

The Greyhounds resume competition at the Drew Upton Memorial on Saturday-Sunday, April 1-2 at Salisbury, Md.
