Baltimore, Md. - The Loyola men's basketball team continues its road swing at Virginia Military Institute (VMI) this Thursday. The Greyhounds, who will be playing the second game of a four-game road trip, take on the Keydets at 6 p.m. in Lexington.
Loyola enters the game with a 5-2 overall record and is led by senior transfer Andre Collins, who is averaging 22.9 points per game. Against Virginia last Friday, Collins posted his first career double-double with 10 assists to go along with his 16 points.
The Greyhounds have also added size during the holiday break with Maryland transfer Hassan Fofana, who played his first game with the `Hounds last Friday at Virginia. Fofana finished with 12 points and eight rebounds in his impressive debut.
VMI, meanwhile is 5-4 overall and in the midst of its first five-game win streak in nine years. The Keydets are led by sophomore Reggie Williams and his 19.4 points per game.
Last year at Reitz Arena, Josko Alujevic tipped-in Linton Hinds' miss with six seconds remaining in regulation to give Loyola a 70-69 win over VMI. Brad Farrell scored a career-high 21 points that game and registered four blocked shots and three steals.
