'Hounds Hunt Blue Hens, First Win Tonight

Baltimore, Md. - The Loyola men's basketball team hosts Delaware at Reitz Arena tonight. The Greyhounds, 0-3, look for their first win under first-year Head Coach Jimmy Patsos after tough road losses at Virginia Tech and Pittsburgh. Tonight's game is slated for a 7:05 p.m. tip. Listen

The `Hounds and Blue Hens enter tonight's game with the all-time series knotted at 10-10. Delaware won at the Bob Carpenter Center last season, falling 76-71 in a very closely contested contest. This season, the Blue Hens are 1-1 with a season-opening loss at Ohio State and a home win over Mount St. Mary's.

Freshman Freddie Stanback enters the game as Loyola's leading scorer this season. Stanback, who had 12 points at Pittsburgh on Saturday night, is averaging 15.7 points per game. Junior Charlie Bell, who also scored 12 points at Pittsburgh, is second in scoring with his 13.3 points per game.

The new-look up-tempo Greyhounds are scoring 67 points per game this season, up eight points from last year's season average. In their home opener against Navy, Loyola scored 86 points. In addition to the Web broadcast, tonight's game can also be heard on WNST AM 1570.
