Baltimore, Md. - The Loyola University Maryland men's basketball team welcomed its season ticket holders to an exclusive event Wednesday night and gave those in attendance a sneak peek at the 2010-2011 Greyhounds.

More than 100 season-ticket holders filled Reitz Arena and enjoyed a selection of hors d'oeurves before being entertained by a 40-minute scrimmage by the team. Newcomers Erik Etherly, Dylon Cormier, Pierson Williams and Justin Drummond performed in front of their new home fans for the first time.

Prior to the scrimmage, athletic director Jim Paquette welcomed those in attendance and seventh-year head coach Jimmy Patsos thanked the group for their support before introducing the members of the team.

The Greyhounds have one more scrimmage scheduled before hosting Shepherd in an exhibition game on Thursday, November 4, at 7 o'clock in Reitz Arena. The regular season gets underway eight days later when Loyola entertains Drexel on Friday, November 12, at 8 o'clock.
