Men's Basketball Recruit Reid To Participate in Charm City Classic

Baltimore, Md. - Men's basketball early-signee Isaac Reid is among the players who will be showcased Sunday at the Towson Center in the seventh annual Charm City Classic. Reid has been selected to play for the United States team, being joined by recruits who will be playing next season for Virginia, Syracuse, Clemson and St. John's.

Additionally, Reid recently was named the Texas 4A Player of the Year following his senior season during which he averaged 24.6 points and 13.2 rebounds while leading his team to a 23-13 record. He also was named District 23-4A Player of the Year and first team all-Texas by the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches.

The Charm City Classic features a doubleheader starting at 3 o'clock with Baltimore City playing Baltimore Suburban followed by Baltimore playing the United States. Among current Greyhounds who have played in the game are Gerald Brown (MVP) and Hassan Fofana (2003), Greg Manning (2004) and Marquis Sullivan (2005).
