Men's Basketball Games To Be Carried On ESPN Radio In Baltimore

Baltimore, Md. - Loyola Athletics and ESPN Radio 1300 in Baltimore announced today that an agreement has been reached between the parties for broadcasting of the remaining men's basketball home games as well as the semifinals and championship game of the 2007 MAAC Men's Basketball Championship which will be held March 4-5 at the Arena at Harbor Yard in Bridgeport, Conn.

"We're excited to partner with ESPN Radio for our stretch run," Loyola Assistant Athletic Director Marty Kelly said in making the announcement. "While we hope our fans can join us in Bridgeport for tournament games, we wanted to provide a local and regional opportunity for men's basketball supporters to follow the Greyhounds as well."

Friday night's game with Canisius will air live beginning at 9:00 p.m. with Mark Zinno and Jim Chivers calling the action. Home games on Sunday, February 11, against Fairfield and Wednesday, February 14, vs. Rider will be delayed and air immediately following University of Maryland broadcasts. Games from the MAAC Championship will be live. Sunday's semifinals are scheduled for 6:00 and 8:30 p.m. while Monday's championship game will start at 9:00 p.m.
