Baltimore, Md. - The Loyola men's basketball team hosts Manhattan this Sunday at Reitz Arena. The Greyhounds, who will be playing in the second game of a men's-women's doubleheader, tip one-half hour after the completion of the women's game with Canisius, but no earlier than 2:30 p.m. Listen
Loyola is coming off its lowest scoring night of the season and needs to quickly regroup with preseason MAAC favorite Manhattan coming to town. The Jaspers are 10-9 overall heading into tonight's game at Iona and have not faced the Greyhounds this season.
Junior Charlie Bell leads Loyola in scoring with 10.5 points per game, but its been Shane James and Brad Farrell, who are averaging 10.3 and 10.1 points respectively in MAAC games, that have the Greyhounds 2-4 in conference home contests this season.
The Greyhounds, who earned their first win December, doubled that total with two wins in January, now play their second February contests of the season. The `Hounds hope to get back on the winning track with seven regular season games remaining, and need to make the most of their home games with only three games left at Reitz Arena.
On Sunday, the women host Canisius at noon and the men are slated for a 2:30 p.m. tip.
