BALTIMORE - Loyola University Maryland men’s basketball’s game at Rider University on Friday, February 24, has been picked to air nationally on ESPN2, the network and the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced today.
The game was selected as one of the MAAC’s wild card dates and will be the Greyhounds first appearance on ESPN2 since playing at Duke University on December 31, 2008.
Loyola, which is 16-5 overall and 9-2 in the conference, will host Rider (9-14, 6-5) tomorrow night in the team’s first meeting this season. The game will also air nationally on ESPNU.
Tomorrow’s game will be the Greyhounds’ seventh on television this year. Loyola’s next three home games – tomorrow, February 10 against Iona and February 12 versus Fairfield – will al be aired on the ESPN family of networks.
