BALTIMORE, Md. - Following an 80-72 loss against Fairfield on Tuesday night, the Greyhound men's basketball team returns to the road on Saturday when Loyola faces Saint Peter's College at the Yanitelli Center beginning at 3:00 p.m.

Now 11-6 on the season, the Greyhounds are 5-4 in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference following the eight-point setback against the Stags on Tuesday night. Senior guard Andre Collins scored a team-high 26 points to lead the Greyhounds, while freshman guard Marquis Sullivan scored 13 points in his second straight start. Terrence Todd scored a career-high 35 points to lead Fairfield in the win as the Stags avenged a 90-85 overtime loss to the Greyhounds on December 9.
Collins leads the team and the MAAC in scoring by averaging 27.4 points per game, while sophomore Michael Tuck is hitting 65.3 per cent of his field goal attempts to lead the conference in field goal percentage.
Saint Peter's is 8-10 on the season after a conference loss to Marist on Wednesday night, dropping the Peacocks' league record to 4-5 on the year. Senior guard Keydren Clark scored a team-high 15 points and had 11 assists in the loss for the Peacocks, which was their fifth in the last six games. The only win during that stretch came against Niagara on Sunday afternoon.
Clark is the second-leading scorer in the conference, averaging 25.6 points per outing. The two-time defending national scoring champion, Clark is fifth in the nation in points per game.
Saint Peter's has won six straight in the series and holds a 34-26 advantage after sweeping the Greyhounds last season. Clark averaged 20.5 points and six rebounds per game as the Peacocks handed Loyola an 86-66 loss at Reitz Arena in the last meeting.
The Greyhounds will continue their two-game road trip on Monday night when they face Marist College beginning at 7:30 p.m.
