Patsos To Appear On Mid-Atlantic Sports Report Wednesday

Jan. 17, 2012

BALTIMORE - Loyola University Maryland head men's basketball coach Jimmy Patsos will be a guest on the Mid-Atlantic Sports Report on Wednesday, January 18, during the early part of the 6 o'clock hour.

The show is a daily broadcast of MASN, the Mid-Atlantic Sports Network, which has broadcast several Greyhounds games this year.

Patsos, who is in his eighth season at Loyola, will chat with hosts Amber Theoharis and Lou Holder on the set of the Sports Report.

Earlier this season, Patsos became the third coach in Loyola history to reach the 100-win plateau, and he has 110 career victories as the Greyhounds are 12-5 overall, 5-2 in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, heading into Thursday night's game against Siena.

Patsos is also just the second coach nationally in the last 20 years to win 100 games at a school after taking over a year after the program registered just one win in a season.

The Greyhounds are back on the court Thursday when they host the Saints in a 7:30 p.m. tipoff in Reitz Arena.
