Thursday's Men's Basketball Home Game To Start At Eight O'Clock

Jan. 15, 2008

Baltimore, Md. - Loyola's men's basketball team returns to action at Reitz Arena this Thursday when the Greyhounds host Marist College in a MAAC contest. The start time of the game has been pushed back to 8 o'clock so as not to conflict with the Martin Luther King Convocation that is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. in adjacent McGuire Hall. Attendees to the Convocation will be encouraged to support the basketball program by stopping by the game that night.

The Greyhounds boast a 5-1 record in Reitz Arena thus far this season and will be playing at home in front of the student body for the first time since December 9, when Loyola posted a convincing 77-54 victory over Manhattan for its first conference win of the season.

Loyola also will play at Saint Peter's on Saturday afternoon and be back at home on January 24 when it hosts Siena. The game with the Saints will be televised live on MASN starting at 7 o'clock.
