Baltimore, Md. - Loyola concludes its 2003-04 non-conference schedule with Central Connecticut visiting Reitz Arena on Monday night. The Greyhounds and Blue Devils meet for the third time in three seasons with the teams splitting the first two meetings. Last season, Loyola topped the Blue Devils at home, winning 65-63 behind Bernard Allen's career-high 21 points. Bobby Bossman scored 19 that night to help the Greyhounds rally from a nine-point second half deficit.
This season, the Greyhounds have played twice as many games at Central Connecticut but are still looking for the season's first win. Three of Loyola's last four games have been decided by five points or fewer and the 'Hounds look to get on the winning side before closing out the year with 16 regular-season conference games.
Monday's game is the second game in a seven-day stretch in which Loyola will play four games. The 'Hounds host Rider this Wednesday and travel to Marist on Friday. Central Connecticut is 2-3 overall and has lost its last two games.
