Men's Cross Country Earns First-Ever Regional Ranking

Baltimore, Md. - Loyola's men's cross country team earned its first-ever regional ranking this week, coming in at No. 15 in the Mid-Atlantic Regional rankings. The Greyhounds, who have four top-five finishes this season, also won their first meet in three years in 2006.

Juniors Brian Parker and Gian Caccia and sophomore Chris Heibell have been a consistent top-three for the Greyhounds this season. The threesome led Loyola to a team title at the Gettysburg Invitational on October 14.

Georgetown is atop the regional rankings while Princeton and American round out the top three.
