CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - Loyola University Maryland senior Kiera Harrison was named the Patriot League Women’s Runner of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday.
Harrison earned her first weekly honor after finishing the Paul Short Invitational ahead of all other Patriot League female contestants. The senior distance runner finished 21st among 406 participants in the Lehigh Valley.
Her time was the second-fastest in Loyola women's cross country history over a 6k course, just seven seconds off her school record set earlier this year.
Harrison and the Greyhounds return to action Saturday, Sept. 19, to compete in the Leopard Invitational in Easton, Pa.
