TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - Kiera Harrison capped her Loyola University Maryland cross country career with a solid finish at the 2013 NCAA Championships, finishing 148th out of 253 runners.
In doing so, Harrison officially became the first Loyola student-athlete to qualify and compete as an individual at an NCAA Division I Championships event.
Harrison, who finished second earlier this season at the Patriot League Championships, covered the 6,000-meter course in 21:39.3. She moved up from 163rd at the 2,000-meter mark to her finishing spot at the end of the race.
