Women 17th, Men 18th at NCAA Cross Country Regionals

Dan McDevitt and Gian Caccia finished 33rd and 36th, respectively, leading the Loyola men's cross country team to an 18th place finish at Saturday's NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional.

Kate Cervo was the women's top finisher in 59th, helping the Greyhound women take 17th.

McDevitt covered the 10,000-meter course in 33:24, and Caccia was just behind, clocking a time of 33:36.

Keith Forlenza took 111th in 35:56, while Terry Moran was 143rd in 37:26. Tim Burns placed 144th in 37:27, and Steve Febish was 148th in 37:52.

Cervo paced the Loyola women on the 6,000-meter course with a time of 23:49, while Maureen Wynne was 79th in 24:17.

Alex Salani placed 104th in 24:49, and Amanda Bossi was 108th in 24:53.

Brittney Gibbons was 146th in 26:02, and Courtney McNamara finished 146th in 26:02. Emily Doucette placed 154th in 26:16.
