Women 14th, Men 25th at NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional

University Park, Pa. - The Loyola University Maryland cross country teams competed at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional in University Park, Pa., today. The women finished 14th out of 29 teams and the men were 25th out of 28 teams.

Leading the way for the women was junior Emily Doucette who finished 58th out of 204 runners with a time of 22:13. Junior Stephanie Gibney finished 73rd with a time of 22:35.

Other women finishers in the 6,000 meters include Victoria Szczawinski (82nd, 22:42), Amanda Bossi (95th, 22:52), Kiera Harrison (108th, 23:05), Kate Cervo (145th, 23:36) and Emily Rooney (152nd, 23:54).

Leading the way for the men's team was junior Matt Hassett who finished 131st out of 194 runners with a time of 33:32.

Other men finishers in the 10,000 meters include Stephen Febish (136th, 33:43), Kieran Dowling (145th, 34:04), Nick Barletta (160th, 34:42), DJ Puleo (167th, 34:55) and Tim Burns (175th, 35:29).
