BETHLEHEM, Pa. - In Sunday action against Stevens Institute of Technology, the Greyhounds won seven of the 12 matches, including three of four doubles contests.
Jordan Kuchta and C.J. Cash paired at No. 2 doubles for a 6-3 win over Charles Drake and Kyle Cenderelli, while Connor Pietrak and Alex Castro dispatched of Michael Feldman and Divini Sarthak, 6-1 at No. 3. Tyler Blessing and Greg Olesnycky wrapped up doubles action with a 6-4 victory over Jacob Thigpen and Antoni Perich in the fourth slot.
Pietrak ralled for a 3-6, 7-5, (10-7), win at No. 3 signles over Danny Polk, and Castro was a straight-sets winner against Feldman, 6-3, 6-4, at No. 5.
Cash beat Henry, 6-1, 7-5, in No. 7 singles, and Brett Shriver was a 6-2, 6-1, winner over David Schultz in the final match.
The Greyhounds then took on nearby Morgan State University. Pietrak and Castro picked up a doubles win for the Greyhounds, 6-4, over Niclas Hoppner and Felix Andre.
Pietrak was also a singles winner for the Greyhounds, beating Trejah Ferguson, 6-3, 6-4. Blest Jones rallied for a 2-6, 6-3, (10-4), win against Aryun Ramakrishnam, and Greg Olesnycky delivered a comeback 3-6, 6-4, (10-6) victory.
