Women's Tennis Opens Season at Bucknell Invitational

Lewisburg, Pa. - The Loyola University Maryland women's tennis team opened up its season at the Bucknell Invitational on Friday in Lewisburg, Pa. The Greyhounds will continue the invitational tomorrow at 9 a.m.

Senior Andie Keyser-Baker won both her single match and her double match. She beat Jen Ciotti from Bucknell (6-2, 7-6) and Keyser-Baker and freshmen Sabrina Fedele beat Mount St. Mary's Stross and Myerly, 8-2. Fedele beat MSM's Kelly Conroy (6,2, 6-1 {12-10}) in Flight "A."

In Flight "B", senior Joy Johnson beat Bucknell's Lauren Rotkamp (6-3, 6-1) but lost in doubles with partner sophomore Scarlett Hoy, 8-2, to Villanova's Mancini and Gobberg.

In Flight "D", senior Lane Maloney won MSM's Evalyn Myerl (6-0,6-0).
