Women's Tennis Falls To Lehigh In Patriot League Quarterfinals

HAMILTON, N.Y. - Lehigh University won the doubles point and then went on to win three singles matches to defeat Loyola University Maryland women's tennis on Friday afternoon in the Patriot League Quarterfinals, hosted by Colgate University.

Lehigh's Cassidy Cruz and Abby Farrell led off with an 8-0 win over Megan Hahn and Olivia Ott at No. 2 doubles, and Christina Auyeung and Jamie Campisi wrapped up the point for the Mountain Hawks with an 8-2 victory over Amanda Lanciano and Ania Krawiec No. 1 doubles.

Auyeung then opened singles play with a 6-0, 6-0, victory over Megan Hahn at No. 1 singles, and Briana Maravich delivered a point for the Mountain Hawks with a 6-3, 6-1, win at No. 4 over Morgus.

Cruz closed out the match for Lehigh, defeating Lanciano, 6-4, 6-2, at No. 2 singles.
