Greyhounds Ranked In First Mid-Major Swimming Poll

BALTIMORE - The Loyola University Maryland men's swimming and diving team is ranked 24th in the first CSCAA/ Mid-Major rankings of the 2010-2011 season.

The Greyhounds accumulated 201.9 points in the rankings, which is sponsored by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America, that took into account results through last weekend's competitions.

Loyola has faced two teams in the rankings thus far this season, beating No. 20 Drexel but falling to No. 1 Navy.

With two weekends off from intercollegiate action, Loyola is gearing up for the December 3-4 H2ounds Invitational. The Greyhound men and women will host three Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference opponents - Iona, Marist and Saint Peter's - in the Mangione Pool at the Fitness & Aquatic Center.
