Baltimore, Md. - Ryan Reeser (Glen Mills, Pa.) and Marist's Jamie Falco have been named the MAAC Men's and Women's Swimmers of the Week, respectively. Reeser earns the honor for the second straight week after his record-setting day at Fairfield.
Reeser, a senior, broke a school record in the 400-meter freestyle (4:09.59) and was a part of the 200-meter medley relay and the 400-meter freestyle relay, both of which broke records at the double-dual meet verse Fairfield and Providence on Saturday. Reeser claimed victory all three events, leading Loyola to wins over the Stags and Friars.
Reeser's performance in the 400-meter freestyle was impressive as he beat out Providence's Mike Loftus, who finished second in the event, by more than 21 seconds. Reeser teamed up with his younger brother, Brad Reeser, freshman Zachary Oster, senior Drew Crampton and junior Ernest Verrico in the record-setting relays.
