Loyola sophomore swimmer Phil Scholz will begin his five-event program at the 2008 Paralympic Games in Beijing, China, on Monday, September 8, at 9:43 p.m. (Baltimore/Eastern Daylight Time).
It will be Tuesday morning in Beijing, but with the 12-hour time difference, Scholz and Loyola fans can watch his action in the Water Cube live on Monday night in the second heat of the 100-meter butterfly (S11 category).
If Scholz has one of the eight fastest times in the two heats, he will move on to the final, which will be held at 5:44 a.m. (EDT) on Tuesday morning.
