Jan. 24, 2008

Baltimore, Md. - The Loyola men's and women's swimming and diving teams return to action this Saturday at Charles Street foe Towson University. The Greyhounds, who will be swimming their final non-conference meet of the season, go head-to-head with the Tigers in dual-meet competition.

Both Loyola's men and women resumed competition at Rider two weeks ago. The `Hounds, who were idle from dual-meet action for over a month due to the semester break, dropped highly competitive decisions to the Broncs in Lawrenceville.

In that meet, junior Tori Kamauff set a school record in the 200 Free, while the likes of E.J. Verrico and freshmen Ozzy Torres and Kim Krzaczek won multiple individual events in the pool.

Overall, the Loyola men are 10-4 this season, while the women are 8-9. The Greyhounds close the regular season next Saturday when they host Iona and Fairfield in MAAC conference competition at the Mangione Aquatic Center.
