Swimming And Diving Concludes Competition At ECAC Championships

The Loyola University Maryland swimming and diving team completed competition at the ECAC Championships at Navy's Lejeune Hall Sunday evening.

North Woods recorded an 11th place finish in the 1650 free in 16:16.16, while Ruslan Kopunek finished 16th in the 100 free in 46.74.

In the 400 free, Woods and Kopunek teamed with Chris Cary and Phillip Jones to touch 12th in the 400 free relay. The quartet combined for a time of 3:10.72.

On Saturday night, Loyola logged four top-15 finishes in relay events.

The Greyhounds' 200 medley relay team of Zeke Wolfgang, Woods, Cary and Kopunek finished eighth in 1:33.23.

In the 800 free, Loyola's men's team of Kopunek, Woods, Ross Caudle and Jones touched ninth in 7:13.75, while the women's team of Grace Huckenpoehler, Christina Napoli, Christina Guertin and McKenzie Coan finished 10th in 8:14.39.

In the 200 medley relay, Guertin, Napoli, Huckenpoehler and Coan put together a time of 1:59.16 to finish 15th overall.
