LEWISBURG, Pa. - Brianna Keelan and Ruslan Kopunek scored in a pair of events for the Loyola University Maryland men's and women's swimming and diving teams on the second day of the 2015 Patriot League Championships at Bucknell's Kinney Natatorium.
Freshman Maddie Myers got the Greyhounds their first points of the day in the 500 free, touching 14th in 5:01.32.
Keelan followed that up by finishing 12th in the 50 free in 23.82 and Kopunek took 14th on the men's side with a time of 21.05.
In diving events, Maggie Garrahan finished 13th overall with a score of 220.75 on the 1-meter boards.
Keelan and Kopunek then concluded the day for the Greyhounds by anchoring the 200 free relays to seventh-place finishes. Keelan teamed with Erin Calderoni, Tara Mulligan and Liz McKenna for a time of 1:35.29, while Kopunek was part of the Madison Hardimon, Nigel Hunter and Rich Mueller quartet that touched in 1:23.12.
Through 14 events, Loyola's men rank sixth with 105 points, while the women are ninth with 60 points. Navy leads both team races with 318 points on the men's side and 305 on the women's side, and Bucknell is second with 204 and 231 points, respectively. The Boston University men round out the top three with 196 points, while Lehigh is third on the women's side with 179 points.
