BALTIMORE, Md. - The Loyola University Maryland rowing team paired up with the Center for Community Service and Justice to pull off a successful Row for Humanity event Friday, January 25 in McGuire Hall.
In its sixth year of existence at Loyola, members of the crew team, as well as other Greyhound students were rowed 452 thousand meters for 12-consecutive hours, raising nearly $6 thousand for their team and the campus chapter of Habitat for Humanity. Proceeds from the event support building and renovation projects throughout the Baltimore area, as well as funding to help the Greyhound crew team compete throughout the season.
