Senior Day Saturday
• Loyola University Maryland volleyball returns to Reitz Arena for two Patriot League contests this weekend, highlighted by a Senior Day ceremony on Saturday afternoon.
• First, the Greyhounds host the U.S. Military Academy on Friday, Oct. 28, in a 7 p.m. match.
• Loyola then hosts College of the Holy Cross on Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Prior to the game, the Greyhounds will honor their four seniors: Micah Duzey, Jane Lukas, Kelly McShea and Lauren Youngblood.
• Both matches will be broadcast through the Patriot League Network on Campus Insiders.

A Look Back
• Loyola picked up its second Patriot League win of the season on Saturday afternoon, rallying in the fifth set to defeat Lafayette College. The Greyhounds won the opening two frames, 25-22 and 27-25, before the Leopards took the next two, 25-17 and 25-20. Loyola, however, came out strong in the fifth to win the stanza, 15-6.
• Ann Ernst had 17 kills in the match, while Haley Puddy contributed 10. Zoe Pawlak (8), Stacey Kazalas (7) and Jane Lukas (7) each had seven or more, as well. Five Greyhounds had 11 or more digs in the match, led by Micah Duzey’s season-high 17.

Defensively Speaking
• In last Friday’s win over Lafayette, the Greyhounds had a season-high 90 digs with five players logging double-figures in the statistical category. The 90 were 14 more than their previous high this season, a total of 76 that came in the first meeting with Lafayette.

Freshmen In The Rankings
• Freshman Ann Ernst continues to lead the Greyhounds’ offensive output this season, averaging 3.60 kills per set. She has posted double-digit kills in 14 of Loyola’s 21 matches this season and has four outings with 20 or more. Her kills per game total ranks third in the Patriot League.
• Fellow first-year player Erin Cunningham is also listed in the Patriot League rankings, checking in fourth with 4.12 digs per set, tops on the team.
