The new iteration of the website features a responsive design that allows fans to experience the full site on any device whether desktop, tablet and mobile.
"One of our primary goals with this redesign was to create a more mobile-friendly site that allows fans and prospective student-athletes to view everything that LoyolaGreyhounds.com has to offer," said Ryan Eigenbrode, Loyola's assistant athletic director for communications. "We have been seeing nearly 50 percent of our views come from tablets or mobile devices, so we wanted to make this site as easy to use for those consumers."
The responsive nature of the new design gradually takes the view from a horizontal layout to a vertical one on phones and other small screens. All navigation links and other content will be available even the smallest of screens as opposed to the previous, slimmed down content for the mobile viewer.
In addition to adding the responsive features, LoyolaGreyhounds.com will have more integrated video and social media content.
Viewers can watch on-demand video content, including highlights, interviews and features of Loyola teams and student-athletes on any device with content accessible from the main page or sport index pages.
"CBSi has been a tremendous partner for us, and we are very grateful for their work and efforts in creating this design," Eigenbrode said. "We think this new site will be a great tool for Loyola fans."
New content will continue to be rolled out on LoyolaGreyhounds.com, so check back frequently for the latest news and information about the Hounds!
