Loyola Rallies From Eight Down In Last Two-Plus Minutes To Defeat Mount St. Mary's

12/01/2008 - Loyola trailed Mount St. Mary's by eight with 2:18 to play, but the Greyhounds scored the game's final nine points, capped by a Meredith Tolley layup with 10 seconds remaining, to defeat the Mountaineers, 55-54. Kaitlin Grant scored 11 points and had a career-high 13 rebounds. Her assist on Tolley's winning bucket was one of her five in the game.

Loyola Soccer Receives 2008 NSCAA College Team Academic Award

11/26/2008 - The National Soccer Coaches Association of America released the 2008 College Team Academic Award winners and Loyola is one of 59 schools to have both the men's and women's teams post grade point averages of 3.0 or higher.

Women's Basketball Uses 16-0 Run To Race Past Bucknell

11/29/2008 - Loyola turned a 42-32 deficit into a 48-42 advantage in just under six minutes, as the Greyhounds pulled past Bucknell for a 61-52 non-conference victory. Alex Berlin scored a career-high 14 points, going 11-of-12 from the free-throw line.
