Executive Vice President

Dr. Susan Donovan was appointed to the position of executive vice president in July 2011 after serving as the chief student development officer at Loyola since 1988.

In this new role, Donovan provides executive leadership for the divisions of administration, advancement, enrollment management and communications, and student development. Donovan also oversees the offices of Campus Ministry, mission integration, and the department of athletics.

Donovan serves as the campus liaison to the Middle States accreditation. She holds a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Saint Louis University, a M.S. in Higher Education from Florida State University, and a B.A. from Buena Vista University, and attended Harvard University's Institute for Educational Management (IEM).

Dr. Donovan is married to Bill Donovan, an associate professor of history at Loyola College. The couple has twin daughters, Caitlin and Meghan.
