VOTE IGGY! Loyola Mascot Hits Final 4 Of Catholic Mascotology
Oct. 10, 2013
BALTIMORE - For the third day in a row, Iggy, Loyola University Maryland’s Greyhound mascot, knocked off a formidable foe in Busted Halo’s Catholic Mascotology competition, this time defeating the Providence College Friar.
Now, Iggy is in the Final Four of the bracket that started with 16 Catholic schools and their mascots.
It’s a Patriot League matchup in the Final 4, as the Greyhounds will take on the College of Holy Cross Crusader!
All four remaining schools – Loyola, Fordham, Canisius College and fellow Patriot League school College of the Holy Cross – are Jesuit institutions, proving once-and-for-all that Jesuits mascots are the best.
Click here to vote now and power Iggy past the Crusader! Once again, Loyola has formed a voting block with the Canisius Golden Griffin, so #VoteIggy #VotePetey!
Fans can vote once per device, so make sure to stuff the ballot box and vote on all of your computers and mobile device!
